The 85th Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) offers several opportunities to engage with experts across the diabetes community.
“It’s a landmark event every year. The whole diabetes community comes together—not just from the United States, but from all over the world from all areas—to connect and share information, develop relationships, and network,” said Marlon Pragnell, PhD, the ADA’s Vice President of Research and Science. “I can’t think of a more important meeting to attend for somebody involved in diabetes research, policy, or patient care.”
A variety of events will help facilitate networking among attendees throughout the conference, taking place June 20–23 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
“We encourage everybody to take every opportunity to connect,” Dr. Pragnell said. “We have formal networking events, but the casual interactions in the hallways are so important for meeting new people and setting the idea of new collaboration.”
