Details

June 6 @ 6:30 am 7:45 am CDT

Sponsored and Supported By: Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Program Description

Join our esteemed panel, consisting of Deborah Horn, Kirk Habegger, Robert Kushner, Priya Jaisinghani, and Joe Nadglowski, as they discuss ‘Glucagon Pharmacology as a Metabolic Signal’. Through a series of rapid lightning talks, our experts aim to advance scientific and clinical understanding of glucagon’s role in metabolic regulation. Kirk Habegger, as a research scientist, will delve into the current scientific understandings of glucagon’s role in metabolic regulation. Robert Kushner will describe the link between the glucagon signalling and it’s contribution to systemic metabolism. Priya Jaisinghani will discuss the clinical impact of glucagon biology. Joe Nadglowski will present the patient-centered perspectives on metabolic dysfunction with a personal narrative of navigating obesity. The content is educational in nature and intended for advocates, researchers, and practicing clinicians attending the ADA Scientific Sessions. This is a Boehringer Ingelheim sponsored symposium. Breakfast will be provided from 6:30AM.
