Educating Patients to Succeed with Advanced Pump Therapy

In this session, I will provide context for clinicians to be able to provide useful information for persons with diabetes who are using advanced pump systems — defined as insulin pumps coupled with CGM and advanced algorithms (e.g. low glucose suspend or hybrid closed loop). Come learn about expectations, barriers, universal and specific education points, and our clinic’s attempt to smooth out the on-boarding process!
