Program Description

The Novo Nordisk Corporate Symposium will be chaired by Dr Alice Cheng and will feature Dr Rodica Pop-Busui, Dr Marc Bonaca, Professor Peter Rossing and Dr Athena Philis-Tsimikas. The symposium will explore the evolving management of type 2 diabetes across the cardio-kidney-metabolic continuum, considering strategies to optimize glycemic control and weight control, as well as the broader impact on cardiovascular and kidney health. The expert panel will review the latest evidence for GLP-1–based therapies and emerging innovations, including once-weekly insulins, and share their perspectives on delivering coordinated, person-centered care across specialties. Through case-based discussion and the opportunity to ask questions, the audience will reflect on how to translate emerging evidence into clinical practice for people with T2D. We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging and informative symposium.
