The presentation focuses on epidemiology and prognostic relevance of diabetic cardiomyopathy and optimal approaches to diagnose diabetic cardiomyopathy.

What makes this topic important in 2022?
The burden of heart failure is increasing in diabetes and early detection of heart failure in a subclinical stage can provide an opportunity for early initiation of therapies to lower the risk of heart failure.

Interest and passion for prevention of heart failure in diabetes.
