Last-minute program addition
Two screenings of the film A Touch of Sugar have been added to the 79th Scientific Sessions program. A Touch of Sugar is a documentary narrated by Viola Davis that dives into the diabetes health-care epidemic that affects every community in the U.S., told through the voices of real people united in their struggle to manage their diabetes. The one-hour documentary will be screened at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and 12:00 p.m. Sunday in S-303 (South, Level 3). The Sunday screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
