Support the American Diabetes Association by Wearing Red

Wear red on Sunday to show your support of the ADA and our mission to prevent and cure diabetes, and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Red merchandise is available for purchase at the ShopDiabetes Store, which is open until 6:15 p.m. Saturday and on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Every purchase supports diabetes research, advocacy, awareness, and education programs.

The annual 5K@ADA brings together citizens of San Francisco and ADA attendees to emphasize the need for increased physical activity to help prevent diabetes and diabetes complications. This disease-awareness activity provides participants with the opportunity to raise public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing and controlling diabetes. Through Novo Nordisk’s continued support of the American Diabetes Association, the 5K@ADA is free of charge to San Francisco citizens and registered 79th Scientific Sessions attendees. Register Here
