Judith E. Fradkin, MD, was honored as the 2020 Lois Jovanovic Transformative Woman in Diabetes Award recipient during the Women’s Interprofessional Network of the American Diabetes Association (WIN ADA) Networking Reception on Friday, June 12. This award is given in honor of Lois Jovanovic, MD, a leading woman scientist in diabetes, to a woman who has made a significant impact in diabetes care, research, education, or public health. Nearly 80 women joined the WIN networking event and participated in breakout sessions. WIN now has 2,700 members.
