Frances M. Ashcroft, DBE, FRS, FMedSci, is the recipient of the 2022 Banting Medal for Scientific Achievement. This award recognizes significant, long-term contributions to the understanding, treatment, or prevention of diabetes. Dr. Ashcroft will present the Banting Medal Lecture on Sunday in a session beginning at 10:15 a.m. CT in Hall F at the convention center.
