Professional Interest Group Discussion on Clinical Centers and Programs — Frequently Encountered Glycemic Management Issues without Clear Guidelines

How can we best translate insights to impact for our patients living with diabetes? Our Clinical Centers and Programs Professional Interest Group Chair, Mary Korytkowski, MD, and I invite you to join us on Saturday, June 13, at 11:30 a.m. CT for “Frequently Encountered Glycemic Management Issues without Clear Guidelines.” We will introduce two presentations as highly engaging as they are practical: Cecilia Low Wang, MD, FACP, on steroid-associated hyperglycemia in the inpatient and outpatient settings, and Elias Spanakis, MD, on continuous glucose monitoring via telemetry. These experts will highlight exciting, crucial advances. Along with establishing clinical centers of excellence on outpatient and inpatient diabetes management issues, and case-based presentations, these are among a diverse array of topics our group explores. As we mark the 80th Scientific Sessions, let us reflect on how far we have traveled, and renew our commitment to what remains ahead.
