What is your presentation about?
This presentation reviews a novel telehealth model for diabetic retinopathy. How this program changed and adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic will be specifically discussed as well as how this has been used as an opportunity to redesign our long-term approach to telehealth.

What makes this topic important in 2021?
Many patients do not receive the required screening for diabetic retinopathy. Telehealth options represent an ideal opportunity to address care gaps which were magnified during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Which subset of attendees shouldn’t miss this presentation?
People interested in diabetic retinopathy as well as telehealth.

What else should Scientific Sessions attendees know about your presentation?
This presentation will discuss a telehealth model to address an important area of diabetes care maintenance (retinopathy screening).
